Jim: Great website and I was delighted to know that the Diodon has one. As you already know, I was on Diodon in 1967-1968 and qualified on her. Served as torpedoman in forward room with Don Thomas. Left Diodon in October 1968 as TM2(SS). Keep up the good work.

Took a look at your web site, I like it. I could almost see you pulling in along side of the USS Sea Fox (SS 402) in San Diego, If I close my eyes and drift a bit I can smell the harbor and the diesel smoke. Thanks for putting this site together.

Just signing in on the deck log in case other Diodon shipmates come across my name while surfing, I was on board from May 56 till Feb 58. great boat, great crew, I was in A-gang, and an MM2 when I came aboard, left as an MM1 to head to Nuke school.

I was only onboard for about 4 or 5 months, went to re-commission the Batfish and get back to the east coast. It was in 1952. Lived at Ocean Beach on Muir Ave. I was RM1.

Howdy Jim, just me again, just used your new BBS and think it will work just great. Hope you get many more ex-Diodon shipmates signing in. If we can get them all to sign on to SubmarineSailor.com with their info, it would be a nice list of Diodon sailors if case we have a reunion someday and can contact each and every one. Would like to hear from crew members during Sep59-Mar62 time period. Already communicate with Don Remily, Glen Boothe, Bill Weinhardt. Be sure to check out the rest of Jims web site. GB, 73's and DBF! Clem

I was on the USS Diodon from 1963 - 1966. I was a TM3 (SS) and qualified on the USS Seadragon (584) from 1962 - 1963. Would like to find some information on Donald Thomas and David Porosky. Last contact with Donald Thomas he was living somewhere in Ct. Porosky could be some place in California.

Jim, I was a sonarman on Diodon. I was only on Diodon for a short time. I think it was for one west-pac trip. Anyway I think it would be fun to meet and renew old aquantances. Is any thing like this in your plans? Ole.
