hey jim, I served at nts/nuwes
Keyport 1977-1980 and really enjoyed my tour there I worked 90% of the time on
surface launches. The TMs were great. They trained me to wire em up, and
pump em out. We shot at a yellow sub as a target at our Dabob target range and
we did launches with the Canadains in BC at their Nanoose range in Nanimo on
Vancover Is.
(GOOD LIBERTY) we went via ferry to the City of Vancover (NICE) did alot of sking, fishin, huntin.. 2 and 4 legged creatures. I met a fella, his email is torpedoman1@aol he served with me there and we've been chattin 4 a couple weeks.
I now serve the public 20yrs. as a City Fire Fighter (Pittsaburgh PA).
I would enjoy hearin from any old shipmates.
I'll b checkin ur site. cya ,
Steve
