The custom of placing flowers on graves is an old one that exists in many countries. Today, almost everywhere around the globe, people have a special day to honor not only those who gave their lives in battle, but also family members and friends whom they wish to remember.
Since 04-06-02

Do
not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am
a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am
the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the Gentle autumn rain.
When
you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do
not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

You can also choose to have a virtual candle burning at all times
on your web page. We want to have candles in every state burning in memory for
our men and women in uniform.
