Dear Mr. Santos,

My dad , Harold A. Taylor, skippered the Diodon sometime in the 1950's.  I really don't have a lot of info. about his experiences, but I remember going to elementary school in San Diego until we were transferred to Venezuela.

All the best,

Carol Taylor

 Jim,

Please excuse me for the delay in answering, but we were in transit to Texas for a couple of months and it took awhile to get back on line.

Taylor's name never came up as skipper of the Diodon. I personally knew the COs from 53-58 and I think we got good feedback for the others in the 50s. There don't seem to be any omissions so I really doubt that he was a CO. I wont be able to check much  further on this until March when I return and look at my records, but I will query some of the early 50s shipmates to see if they recognize the name........

 Keep a Zero Bubble.
