Here is LT(SS) James F. Carlier in Tubes Aft.
This
is in the After Torpedo Room while submerged on our 55 day
patrol. Lt Carlier was the Weapons Officer. As such,
he was in charge of Tubes Fwd and Tubes Aft, as well as
the deck force when we were in port.
I thoroughly liked Mr. Carlier. He treated me well
and we developed a very friendly relationship. I
will remember him always.
