To his right are the Christmas Tree and the ballast tank vent and flood controls.

Behind him are the shallow water depth gauge, the deep water depth gauge, the bow planes control wheel, the stern planes bubble meter for the stern planesman to follow the bubble to control the forward/aft tilt of the boat.

Directly to the right, and foremost, is the map table in the control room, where charts where laid out, or coffee cups were stationed.
