Hi Jim;

On the photo of the steward coming through the fwd battery hatch, he is Renato Duplon.  He went on to become 1st class engineman.

On the picture back by the aft engineroom hatch, Bob Fees is fishing.  I am sitting behind him.  Herbie Edwards is the redheaded one.  Gary Natcher is on the other side of the hatch and Mister Engine Eddy himself Drake is the kacky clad.

I remember Garza, but not his first name.  Let me see: there was Kenny Mespelt, EM;  Scotty Branyon, EM.

TM1 Thomas was known as Horrible Tom or Magilla Gorilla.

TM2 Stanley Sweedbloom once wore the same nuc suit during the whole patrol -  he had two pair of socks and the nuc suit to turn in for laundry.  The only reason he had to take his laundry to the truck is because the nuc suit couldn't write.

There was Chuck Wasmuth, Alfie Smith, David Palmer, Tommy Molehauer, Don Mitchell, David Elam.  There was a QM Mitchell, Warren MacManamy, Crank Case Jones, .ENC extraordinare, and another kid named Buckner, Bouncing Teddy Bear Bob Petta.

Scurbby Michael Hall, last I heard of him, was teaching at some college in west Texas.

Zeke Hoffman went to the Grayback about the same time I did and the last time I saw him he was a Professor of English for the University of Maryland at their Taiwan Campus.

Alfie Smith, Seke Hoffman, Don Mitchell, Bob Moore (a ST1) and me went to the Grayback at about the same time.
