Made the 4000 dive. A few westpac cruises.
Was in A gang with Charlie Matlock. Bob Page, Dave Werlin. Also in both Engine Rooms.
Blew up #3 eng on patrol on the way to Japan.
Really great reading about the old crew. Talked to B.J. Strand a couple of times. Got out on 20 years last of 1970.
I seen George Rogers in CT, real name David. Also Bill Filger. He was killed in a bike wreck in 80"s.
