The only places that would be appropriate in this country would be outside the Chinese embassy or at the United Nations. But in our nation's capital, for God's sake?

There's no excuse for this. Is everybody in America asleep? And as for redoaklady2001's comment, it has nothing to do with being better than China. They have no right to raise their flag next to ours, and I fail to see how it would have been a violation of their freedom if they had been denied the right to do this, as they should have been.
